There’s a good chance that you, like many parents in Bergen County, have done that summer camp drop off-then-race-to-a-workout-class dash at some point in your life. But what if there were a premier summer camp where your workout class was just steps away from drop off? That’s just one of the many benefits of Fountain Ridge Summer Camp, co-located with the Fountain Fitness Center in Ramsey, New Jersey.
Fountain Ridge Day Camp is an 8-week summer day camp program. In 2023, the program will run from Monday, June 26th through Friday, August 18th. This full day camp will keep your kiddos busy with daily swims (both instructional and recreational) in the indoor pool, pickleball courts, indoor basketball courts, and indoor turf fields. Their brand new audio/visual and sound system are perfect for watching movies or gaming and, in this 65,000 square foot facility, there’s plenty of space for arts & crafts, small group games, and weekly themed activities. So, in the middle of the summer, your child will be safe from the heat in the air-conditioned, climate-controlled facilities.
But never fear, your kids will have plenty of fresh air time as well, with access to 5 acres of outdoor space including grass fields, the outdoor soccer field, a shaded picnic area, and blacktop space for street games like hockey, gaga, and more.
Each week, campers can look forward to a different theme with unique activities and games. Themes for 2023 include: Ocean Animals, Sports Team Spirit, Sharks, Legos, Animal Planet, Space Week, Dinosaur Week, and a Hawaiian Luau. Parents can look forward to not packing lunches for the summer with lunch provided each day and included in the price of the program.
The Fountain Ridge Day Camp day will run from 9am – 4pm. Early drop offs and late pick-ups are available for an additional cost. Fountain Ridge Day Camp is open to children ages 5-13. Campers will be divided into groups based on their ages: 4-5 years, 6-7 years, 8-10 years, and 11-13 years. Half-day options are available for younger campers. Pick-up for half-day campers is 1:00pm. Space is limited so enroll early! If you reserve your child’s spot before February 9th, you’ll receive an Early Bird Pricing Discount per child.
