You can join a gym, sign up for new fitness classes, buy a Fitbit, hire a trainer, and do a gazillion other things with the idea of getting yourself in shape in 2018, but if you don’t have great workout clothes you feel good in, you’ll be fighting an uphill battle.
Luckily, Fabletics – the fashionable fitness apparel company co-owned by actress Kate Hudson – just opened a boutique at Garden State Plaza in Paramus so you have no excuse not to toss those ratty sports bras, faded T-shirts and stretched-out leggings and grab some new gear.
The line is stocked with layerable tanks and tops in sizes ranging from petite to plus-size in various fabrics – from lightweight for a low-key workout to sweat-wicking for hot yoga to chafe-resistant tops with built-in bras for running. Pair them with some of Fabletics’ butt-boosting yoga pants, leggings, tights and capris that come in stylish solids or pretty patterns and round things out with one of the brand’s workout jackets, a few sports bras, and even a new pair of sneakers and you’ll be ready to rock.
The brand does things a little differently, giving shoppers a chance to become VIP members for around $50 a month, providing you with credits that can be spent on Fabletics goods for pretty sweet prices. (A peek at the site shows new members get two pairs of leggings for $24 and many tanks clock it at just $15). But the good news is now you can actually try on those leggings in person at their new outpost right at Garden State Plaza- the perfect inspo to help you make 2018 your healthiest year yet.
