Englewood Health Urgent Care is Here for You When You Need It [dedicated]

Wellness  /

You know how your smoke alarm batteries only seem to start beeping at 2 a.m.? Well, the same is often true for injuries and illnesses––they always seem to happen at night or over the weekend when your regular doctors are off the clock. But there's good news! That's where the Englewood Health urgent care centers come in. And, lucky for you, they now have a new urgent care center located at 35 Nathaniel Place in Englewood.

Englewood Health Urgent Care at Englewood provides adult and pediatric urgent and non-urgent medical care seven days a week, with extended weekday and weekend hours available. So now, if your kid spikes a fever in the evening, or your spouse-who-doesn't-remember-they're-getting-old twists an ankle playing flag football (just us?), you can conveniently access diagnostic services and treatment right away with no appointment necessary.

At the new facility in Englewood, the outstanding medical team is available to assist with illnesses and injuries; pre-employment, school, and camp physicals; lab tests; X-rays; vaccinations; and other urgent and routine care.

"We are ensuring access to quality urgent care for our patients," says Stephen Brunnquell, MD, president of the Englewood Health Physician Network. "Urgent care is also an added resource for our physicians, and other local medical providers, because immediate care is available for their patients, including before and after practice hours, to address any urgent medical needs including X-rays or lab tests."

Plus, Englewood Health is committed to being where you are. That's why they also have an urgent care center in Cresskill, NJ, and two more opening this year in Jersey City and Fair Lawn. A walk-in primary care location will also open in Cliffside Park in 2022.

Though urgent care doesn't replace your regular physician appointments for routine care or chronic condition management, it's nice to know it's there for when you need it. Just remember that, for true medical emergencies (chest pain, shortness of breath, or signs of stroke), you should always call 9-1-1 for immediate attention.

The new Englewood Health Urgent Care at Englewood is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Englewood Health accepts most insurance plans.
