Ah, summer. The days of unstructured time, lazy afternoons, and endless video games. Wait— scratch that. Those 10 precious weeks when school isn’t in session need to be purposeful: encouraging discovery, leadership skills, enrichment and learning.
Thankfully, Dwight Englewood Summer Connections is where your kids can do it all, all at one place. Engaging learners in grades pre-K through 12th, D-E Summer Connections offers a rich breadth of courses that introduce students to a variety of subject areas, giving kids an opportunity to both hone skills and spark interest in brand new disciplines.
Cooking, water play, languages and music are available to younger campers; older ages choose from a jam-packed schedule which includes debate, web design, art, science, and off-beat activities such as stained glass, 3D printing, “Cheftastic,” and “Beatles Guitar Camp.” Technology and nature are integrated throughout; the flexible program allows students to design their discovery based on individual needs and desires.
With a strong tradition in rigorous academics, the arts, compassion and independent thinking, D-E is located just minutes from George Washington Bridge on a beautiful 40+ acre campus. Camp sessions begin June 23 and bus service is available in the NYC metro area.
Come check out the program! D-E’s open houses will be held on April 19 and May 17, 1 – 3pm at the Hajjar Auditorium.
