There are a lot of things we’ve really missed during this whole thing, but one of the biggest is shopping. No, not grocery shopping or heading out on a quest to find hand sanitizer and toilet paper shopping, but real-deal, treat ourselves to a new swimsuit/maxi dress/pair of stilettos/eyeshadow palette kind of shopping.
Well, the time has come. While most retailers are still closed for in-person shopping, shopping mecca Westside Garden State Plaza recently reopened for curbside pickup – a safe and easy way to get what you need from some of your fave spots without actually setting foot inside the mall.
Tons of stores are participating – from Nordstrom to Macy’s to Louis Vuitton to Free People – in addition to many of the mall’s eateries. (Because it’s almost summer and our kitchens will soon be closing.) Here’s how it works: You shop and order online or via phone, get curbside instructions from the retailer, call when you get there and – poof! – someone delivers your stuff right to your car. We might want to keep curbside pickup around even after this whole stay-at-home thing goes away. Happy shopping!
