Big news in Ridgewood: Yes, the famous Crumbs Bakery has finally arrived. Pinch us we’re so excited! This vintage inspired bakeshop serves muffins, cookies, brownies, and of course over 50 varieties of cupcakes baked fresh daily; their signature size cupcake is actually 6oz bigger than standard size. We really just dream of leisurely dining on one of their delectable treats and fresh brewed coffee with our morning paper in hand.

La Dolce Divas
You know the lines that form outside Magnolia Bakery in the West Village? Well, they have nothing on our very own La Dolce Divas. The menu is similar, with three different sizes of cupcakes and many delicious frosting choices. They also capture our hearts (and appetites) with some old favorites like whoopie pies and banana pudding. Their designer cakes made to order are also really delicious too.

Think vegan cupcakes can’t taste good? Head over to Sweet Avenue to prove yourself wrong. Probably one of the only gourmet, vegan bakeshops around and its here in Rutherford! The self-proclaimed “cupcakery” has really cool design concepts; cupcakes featuring pictures of your favorite twilight characters and cupcakes to celebrate the last season of “Lost”. Kid allergic to gluten? No problem, they make some varieties gluten-free. They can also custom print any cupcake.
