And now that it's almost ice cream season (also known as summer), Bergen County is welcoming its newest addition to the ice cream game. Cherry On Top Ice Cream Shop, a new pop-up ice cream shop, opened in Harrington Park on June 8th, and is serving up mouthwatering scoops and more through October.
The concept comes from the owners of Harrington Park hot spots Cork & Crust and Raw Oyster Bar & Italian Kitchen. Located next door to Raw Oyster Bar, the shop features 16 flavors of Nasto's 'Old World' Premium Ice Cream. Look for classic flavors including chocolate, cookie dough, chocolate chip mint and pistachio, as well as a rotating menu of specialty flavors throughout the season. Plus, if you're dairy-free or ice cream just isn't your thing, Cherry on Top is offering Italian ice flavors to help you cool off.
Want some sweetness to go? Check out the shop's pre-packaged ice cream and frozen desserts, such as cakes and tartufo, so you can stay satisfied at home, too. While you're headed that way, make it a meal and dine out next door for a full palate-pleasing day.
