Such a simple pleasure can provide hours of entertainment for little ones (and tbh, adults too), and now, the concept is making its way to American Dream in East Rutherford in an innovative, massive way. Bubble Planet Experience opens at the entertainment and shopping megacenter on July 5 for limited-time summer fun through August 25. The fully interactive, immersive space feature 11 vibrant themed areas for playing, snapping pics, and enjoying some indoor fun — ideal for the dog days of summer.
As you explore each environment designed to stimulate the senses, you'll have the freedom to run and, swing, jump, and smile. The LED room has beautiful oceanic displays at every turn or dive into the Bubble Ocean room surrounded with big balloons and the Bubble Bath ball pit room, where you can act like a kid again and all ages can enjoy the indoor playground. Snap some family shots in the Selfie Room and get lost in the VR room with comfortable chair swings and virtual reality headsets for every visitor.
To make your way through every installation, expect about a 60 to 90 minute visit — but the good news is that there's no time limit to enjoying each space. Bubble Planet is open Mondays through Thursdays and Sundays from 10 am-8:30 pm and Fridays and Saturdays from 10 am-9:30 pm, with timed tickets available. Plus, kids under 4 years old can visit for free.
