What to look out for
Clean Juice: Acai bowls, organic wraps, organic juices and smoothies, plus healthy breakfast and lunch options are just some of the tasty and nutritious food options at the Clean Juice location opening soon in Wyckoff. LT Bar & Grill: Opening for dinner on November 20 at The Shops at Riverside, this large, upscale destination is the product of Michelin star Chef Laurent Tourondel. Not only will your mouth water at the dry aged steaks, fresh seafood and sushi and desserts, LT Bar & Grill is mixing up hand crafted cocktails by expert mixologists. On its second floor (yes, you heard correctly), lives LT Above, an event space that can host up to 300 people, once the time comes that it’s safe to do so.

Porter: This new, modern American gastropub opening mid-December boasts fresh Italian dishes, original seafood options and handmade wood-fired pizza in their Weehawken location. Small, shareable plates will also be on the menu as they open their doors with indoor seating, as well as an expansive outdoor patio with heaters. With weekend brunch starting soon after their opening and an extensive bar menu, your dining plans are made.

Chop’t Creative Salad Co.: This NYC-originated, make your own salad chain already has a home in Bergen at its Paramus location, but is opening its new Montvale location on Wednesday November 4. Order off their bowls & salads menu or customize your own, choosing from a number of “choppings” sourced from local communities and farmers.

Füdgarten: Opening in the next several days in Fort Lee, Füdgarten is a casual, organic eatery. Sandwiches and paninis, salads, grain bowls, and fresh pasta are on the menu, plus juice and protein shakes. Füdgarten promises the finest ingredients, with organic options front and center. Dine in, take out and delivery options are available.

Reilly’s Ribcage: BBQ lovers have kept their eye out on this opening for a while, and is finally happening soon. Specialty sandwiches, quality smoked meats and bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers take over the menu, with a kids menu available to serve the little ones. Bonus: Reilly’s Ribcage is holding an Instagram contest for BBQ-loving artists to paint a mural on their wall. Submissions being accepted now!

Ramen Matsu: Looking for some authentic ramen to soothe the soul? Ramen Matsu recently opened on October 20, serving up menu items including Soy Sauce Ramen, Salt Ramen and Vegan Ramen. Their new location in Closter is mostly take-out, with the option to make a reservation for one of their five dine-in tables.

Salt Pepper Ketchup: A little comfort food goes a long way these days, and thanks to Hawthorne’s new spot, Salt Pepper Ketchup, it’s easier than ever to satisfy a craving. Open for breakfast and lunch, this small spot is cooking up everything from waffle sandwiches to empanadas.
