If someone in your family (kid or grownup) is due for a visit to the orthodontist, there’s no reason to put it off. The board-certified doctors at Cabri Orthodontics, Bergen County natives with over 35 years of experience in providing quality orthodontic care, are ready and waiting to help and are taking every precaution to ensure patient safety right now.
Doctors Bianca Cabri and Shiuann Chen-Cabri are following all guidelines and recommendations by the CDC, American Dental Association (ADA), and the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO). Those protocols begin in the waiting room, including requiring facemasks for anyone who enters the office, screening patients for fever and symptoms, installing physical barriers at check-in, removing magazines and other high-touch items from the waiting area, and stringent sanitization practices.
During interaction with patients, our staff will be equipped with proper PPE including surgical masks, K95 masks, and N95 masks with goggles or face shields, depending on the service being provided. And the Cabri team continues to monitor updates from all three organizations regarding COVID-19.
As always, our doctors pride themselves on taking the time to give each and every patient the service they deserve. From a patient’s first visit when the doctors and their experienced, professional staff perform a comprehensive exam, including taking impressions, digital x-rays and comprehensive scans, photos and a detailed medical history, patients know that their treatment will be customized to their unique mouth.
The Cabri Orthodontic office is brand-new and state-of-the art, enabling the doctors and staff to offer patients a comprehensive range of orthodontics, specializing in Invisalign treatment, esthetic ceramic brackets that match tooth enamel, traditional metal brackets and lingual braces.
Doctors Cabri and Chen-Cabri suggest that parents bring their children for their first orthodontic consultation between the ages of 7 and 9. This early treatment has several benefits including: enhanced self-esteem and the ability to widen dental arches to make room for adult teeth and improve the results of future treatment, resulting in more stable, long-term results once a child’s orthodontic treatment is complete.
But what if you’re an adult who has noticed some movement in your teeth as you have aged? Cabri Orthodontics can help you too. Orthodontic treatment for adults results in a more comfortable, better aligned bite, improved jaw function, the possible lessening of TMJ symptoms, improved overall dental health and enhanced self-esteem.
The Cabri Orthodontics doctors are both graduates of the Columbia University Dental School and Orthodontics Residency program. The office is bilingual with both English and Mandarin Chinese spoken fluently.
