Between the school carpools, the sports practices and the daily runs to the grocery store (you’re out of milk again, by the way), you do enough running around. So when it comes to your leisure time, you’d like a place that’s sort of a one stop shop. On Sunday, September 8th, from 1 – 4 pm, Kaplen JCC on the Palisades will be holding their annual Open House. Join them for a day of sample classes, the Thurnauer School of Music’s popular instrument petting zoo, fun for the kids, giveaways and special discounts. You’ll be able to enjoy all the JCC amenities as you explore all the ways the JCC can help you reach your family’s leisure, extracurricular and educational goals.
At the Open House, members and guests will have the opportunity to take classes, try out the fitness centers and such athletic offerings as Zumba, kettlebells, and speed training, make a craft, sample an instrument, and receive a complimentary nutrition and acupuncture consultation with the Graf Center for Integrative Health. There will also be complimentary chair massages and facial evaluations by JCC spa professionals, just in case you find yourself with some time on your hands.
Once you’ve fallen in love with the JCC and all it has to offer, you’ll want to sign up right away. JCC representatives will be available at the Open House on September 8th to give guided tours of the facilities and to help with class registrations. Even better, Open House visitors will have the opportunity to get $150 off their membership if they join by October 31st. If you register at the Open House, you’ll receive $50 in JCC Cash. Members who refer friends will also receive $50 in JCC Cash if their referral turns into a membership.
