What’s that? Your first wish is to see a show that’s filled with beloved songs, dazzling choreography, and unforgettable moments; a musical adventure that will delight audiences of all ages. You’re in luck! The Performing Arts School at bergenPAC’s spring production of Disney’s Aladdin, Jr, will be performed on the main stage at bergenPAC in Englewood, New Jersey on Saturday, May 10 th at 6:00pm. You’ll get to witness firsthand the magic that happens onstage when a group of performers finally gets to show the world the end result of their hard work, rehearsals, and training. Tickets are $15 each and are on sale now.
Wish number two is for an arts education institution for families living across the northern New Jersey region? Wish granted at The Performing Arts School at bergenPAC. The school seeks to provide professional quality instruction in music, dance and theater, while also providing a welcome atmosphere for children of all ages and abilities to have fun as they are introduced to the arts.
The Performing Arts School at bergenPAC offers early childhood programs in music, dance, and theater for kids ages 3 months – 5 years. These classes lay the groundwork for your future stars and the foundation for your kid’s lifelong appreciation for the arts.
The Dance Program at The Performing Arts School at bergenPAC features NYC professional faculty and offers dancers the opportunity to receive excellent dance training in a positive setting. Dancers can choose from a wide variety of classes for all ages and abilities (children through adults) including Classical Ballet, Contemporary, Modern Jazz, Horton, Afro Modern, Tap, Hip-Hop, Acrobatics, and more! There is also a Pre-Professional program which offers college guidance and more performance opportunities for serious dancers.
The music program at The Performing Arts School at bergenPAC is tailored to the individual instrument and educational needs of each student, and focuses on building technical skills as a foundation for performance. The program features private music lessons, group classes, jam sessions, and the opportunity to record their pieces in a professional recording studio setting. The curriculum Music students (group classes and private lessons) have the opportunity to participate in the end-of-year performance on the bergenPAC mainstage.
bergenPAC’s theater program offers classes for all ages in the dramatic arts and musical theater as well as college and audition preparation. bergenPAC also presents audition-based theater productions throughout the year.
