It’s the new year and you are ready to work on a new you. You have resolutions, goals, and plans. Kaplen JCC on the Palisades is that place and as luck would have it, they’re hosting an Open House on Sunday, January 8th, from 10:00am – 2:00pm, so you can learn more about their facilities and programs.
Kaplen JCC on the Palisades is a 185,000 square foot facility, boasting two fitness centers, an indoor and an outdoor aquatics center, spin and Pilates studios, two gymnasiums, tennis, racquetball and pickleball courts, an indoor track, a luxurious spa and so much more. So, if your goals and plans involve fitness this year, or if you’d like to learn a new sport or build your skills in one you love to play, Kaplen JCC has you covered.
Maybe participating in the arts is your jam; you’ll have the chance to check out the Thurnauer School of Music and the JCC Dance and Drama School. The renowned Thurnauer school offers outstanding instruction, concerts, master classes, and community events to JCC members. The School of Dance and Drama offer performers a chance to hone their skills in classes, performances and theatrical productions. The School of Dance offers classes in a variety of dance styles and includes an audition-based performance dance company. The School of Drama is designed to develop talent and imagination while inspiring a joy of performing.
For families who are looking ahead to summer, ask about Neil Klatskin Summer Camp to learn more about day camp options and features that make this camp the summer home away from home for kids from Northern New Jersey and New York. Representatives will also be on hand from the Guttenberg Center for Special Services, which provides both direct and indirect services, and a full range of programming, for individuals of all ages with disabilities.
