5 Things We’re Buzzing About Week of July 9th

Fashion  /

What's the word in Bergen County NJ? Well, buzzworthy food and fun is happening and we are totally here for it. Enjoy!

Sponsored Post: You shouldn’t beat yourself up too much if you overdid it on the quarantine carbs or didn’t keep up with your usual gym routine.  Anyway, we all deserve a little extra help in the looking-and-feeling-good department right about now, which is why you’re going to want to get to know Emsculpt, a body-contouring device offered at health and wellness center Let Loose in Montvale and in even better news, right now they're also giving clients $1,000 off a treatment series that usually goes for $3,000. And we’ll take 1,000 dollars over 1,000 sit-ups any day. (Let Loose 20 Chestnut Ridge Road, Montvale, 201.746.0582)

Drive in Movies at Westfield Garden State Plaza: At least movies haven't been cancelled. Westfield Garden State Plaza is hosting fun family movie nights under the stars every Friday night during the month of July. Tailgate or watch from your car, and feast on some of your favorite local food trucks and hear DJ spun tunes pre-show. (Garden State Plaza, parking lot across from AMC Theaters, $20 per car, Schedule and tickets can be purchased here)

Nickel-O-Stables: This could be the most-adorable-under-the-radar place everrrr. Meet Nickel-O-Farms right over the Rockland boarder in West Nyack. If your kid loves horses, farmy stuff and petting zoos, this place is a must-visit. The stables accept visits for their petting zoo, bee tours, riding lessons and a super-cute summer riding program which runs daily from 10am -2pm and includes farming and crafts. (Nickel-O-Stables, 369 Strawtown Rd, West Nyack NY, 845-303-2550,click here for pricing and to reserve)
Beadstein: What's the must-have accessory for 2020? Masks, obvs. And for the style-obsessed, we welcome Beadstein. Started by local mama Alissa Epstein, expect fun, colorful, beaded straps, (which can be customized!) for your (or your kid's) phone or mask. So fashionable in fact that we almost may miss our mask game when the pandemic is over (almost). (Available for  purchase at Reform Kids, Cresskill or via Instagram DM @beadstein)
Frosé at Dimora Restaurant:  Never has there ever been a summer that we have needed a Frosé more than summer of 2020. And thankfully we enjoyed a tasty one (or two) at Dimora's outdoor dining. Perfect for a socially distanced evening on the town. (Dimora Restaurant, 100 Piermont Rd, Norwood, 201-750-5000)
Society Beach: If you know, you know we love shopping at Society Femme and Society Men in Westwood. That's why were we so psyched to hear that curator, stylist MaryAlice Farella has just opened up an outpost in LBI, aptly named Society Beach. Stocked with tie dye sweats, cashmere sweaters, slides and even some LBI merch for him and her, it's the perfect spot to roll in to post-beach for all the essentials. (Society Beach, 2106 Long Beach Blvd, Surf City, NJ, Open 10-6, and 10-5 on Sundays)
