YWCA Bergen County’s Horseback Riding Summer Camp Near You

Camps  /
Whether it’s the thrill of having a friend who is six feet tall, gaining new confidence and important problem solving skills, or riding high while making lifelong friends, horseback riding is destined to kick up all kinds of fun.

New this year, YWCA Camp Soquili at the Bergen County Equestrian Center combines professionally trained staff, experienced horses and a super convenient location all in one unique summer camp experience for boys and girls ages 7 - 13.

Campers get to learn all the fundamentals, develop riding skills, help take care of the horses, and spend time with friends. Each horse has been carefully selected to ensure a positive and safe experience, and daily activities include riding horses, grooming horses, painting horseshoes, barn scavenger hunts, and leadership. Traditional day camp activities are also part of the action, including arts and crafts, sports, and nature activities with the Bergen Audubon Society.

Camp dates run from June 27 – August 26 from 9 – 4pm and before and after care is available.

Don’t miss the Open House on Saturday, June 4, from 10 – 3pm and for a limited time, you can receive 2 weeks of FREE pre-camp or 1 week of FREE post-camp when registering campers for 2 or more weeks with full payment made prior to camp.

Limited spots are still available; sign up now so your campers can experience the unbridled joy!
