Young Women Find Their Home at Immaculate Heart Academy [dedicated]

Schools  /

Look at your daughter. She’s barely even a teenager yet (though she sure has been practicing to be one for years!). It’s hard to believe that plans you make now will affect the college or life choices for this child who will always be your little girl. But they might. Which is why, if you are starting to look for high school options for your daughter, you’ll want to consider Immaculate Heart Academy in Washington Township, NJ.

Immaculate Heart Academy is an all-female college prep high school in the Archdiocese of Newark which has as its purpose the complete education of young women, offering them a truly unique educational experience. By cultivating the traditional Christian values of the Roman Catholic Church and upholding exceptional academic standards, IHA strives to develop every aspect of each of their students by educating their minds, nurturing their spirits and promoting a healthy lifestyle. The Immaculate Heart Academy graduate is thoughtful, compassionate, responsible, engaged in her community and prepared for life in the twenty-first century.

Students who choose to make their home @theheart will be challenged by a rigorous college preparatory curriculum, encouraged in their extracurricular endeavors, and supported in their pursuits by an affirming and dynamic administration and faculty. As a school, IHA enjoys a reputation as an academic, artistic, and athletic powerhouse. But it’s the way new students (and their families) are embraced, enfolded into the community and included in a sisterhood that is currently over 10,000 alumnae strong and growing that makes the IHA experience one-of-a-kind.

Families of current 7th, 8th or 9th grade girls who are interested in learning more about this unique place are welcome to review their Open House presentation videos. Then, families are invited to visit IHA campus for a personal tour during the Spring Open House on Thursday, April 29th, 2021. Registration for this event is required and masks are mandatory while visitors are on campus. Choose your tour time slot here.

Do you belong @theheart? Your daughter could join the thousands of young women in Northern New Jersey and parts of New York who have been making their home at Immaculate Heart Academy since 1960. IHA is looking forward to welcoming your daughter to the family. For more information, please contact Director of Admissions, Ms. Alexis Fatigati’07, at or 201.445.6800, ext. 112.
