Why: Crafts, Canoes and a Campy atmosphere at the Demarest Nature Center
Where: The Duck Pond in Demarest
When: Saturday, October 9th, 10am-5pm (raindate October 16th)
What: Westwood Fire Department Circus
Why: Don’t call us carnies, but we love circus clowns and good ol cotton candy
Where: K-Mart Plaza on Broadway in Westwood (tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door, you can buy tickets at many local merchants)
When: Saturday, October 9th, Shows at 2pm, 4pm, and 7pm
What: Tenafly Nature Center’s Seasonal Scavenger Hunt
Why: There is no “I” in team, and your tot could benefit from that lesson
Where: Hudson Avenue, Tenafly ($5 for members, $10 for non-members, children under 2 are free!)
When: Saturday October 9th, Arrive between 2pm and 4pm
If you’re heading to the city……
Hit the Indoor Carnival at the Upper East Side’s Park Avenue Armory- including games, rides, circus performers. Kids under 14 are free! Saturday to Monday 11am to 7pm
