The years might be short, but it's true that sometimes those summer days with your littles really do seem to last forever. But there's good news, at least one day of the week, because Tykes Tuesday at Palisades Center in West Nyack, New York is back this summer with a full schedule of fun, interacting events to entertain your kiddos.
Starting on Tuesday, July 4th and running through Tuesday, August 29th, Tykes Tuesday will feature a diverse lineup of activities sponsored by Palisades Center's venues. These weekly events are free and have been especially curated for children under the age of 12, which means that at least one day a week, you get a break from planning the adventure.
The Tykes Tuesday 2023 Summer Schedule kicks off with Jess Pudd'in hosting a patriotic-themed cupcake decorating event from 1:00pm - 2:00pm on Level Four.
On July 11th and again on August 15th, from 11:15am - 1:15pm, your tiny skaters can take to Palisades Center's NHL-sized ice rink for a chance to cool down in the heat of the summer. Complimentary skate rentals are included.
The last two Tuesdays in July, July 18th and July 25th, from 11:00am - 12:00pm, let your little adventurers explore, climb, and conqour the Sky Tykes Adventure Ropes Course. Parents have the choice of either joining in the fun or watching the excitment from the sidelines.
On Tuesday, August 1st and again on August 29th, from 10:00am - 12:00pm, your mini golfer can discover the joy of golf as they swing, putt, and play games at Golfzon Social.
Then on August 8th from 11:00am - 12:00pm, let your child design their own freshly baked cookie with a cookie-decorating hour with Great American Cookies. Your top chef will have a blast expressing their cookie creativity.
Tuesday, August 22nd, ClimbZone hosts a thrilling adventure as kids conquer exciting and artistic climbing walls.
Plus, throughout the summer, Tykes Tuesday will host The Play Zone from 11:00am - 4:00pm, a special space on Level One of the Palisades Center where kids can play games and have fun.
But wait, there's more! As part of their collaboration with the New York Boulders baseballl team, one lucky family will win a prize pack of gift cards and tickets from venues that will be hosting the 2023 Tykes Tuesday events. All you have to do is enter to win!
