We must admit, our interest in book clubs fizzled out somewhere around the time Oprah went off the air. But if anything is going to get us back on the book club bandwagon it’s brunch and booze.
Introducing Books, Brunches & Booze, a concept created by two sisters-in-law and a small group of their girlfriends back in 2018. The women-focused “not your typical book club” has since expanded to cities around the U.S. – from Philadelphia to Raleigh to Dallas. And last month the BB&B crew announced its newest chapter: North Jersey, with its host based in Bergen County. (What are the odds?)
Like groups in other parts of the country, each month the North Jersey chapter will focus on a different book and brunch spot, along with the opportunity to make some new local friends.

October’s novel is Jennifer Chase’s thriller Little Girls Sleeping and past books of the month have included New York Times bestsellers Verity by Colleen Hoover and The Grace Year by Kim Liggett. (We also totally love that the picks are nearly always written by women!)
