What’s better than a rousing round of Mario Kart with family and friends? How about if it were IRL? What if you had the chance to dress as your favorite Mario Bros. character, hop in a go kart, and race other characters in a 10 minute, 14-lap imitation of your very favorite driving game that features flying banana skins? The Mushroom Rally hits New Jersey in October and though you’ll need to leave your actual banana skins at home, your dream of taking on Luigi and Princess Peach in a breathtaking race to the finish line can come true.
Who will win? It’s anybody’s guess. Join your fellow go kart racers at the starting line to figure out who gets bragging rights for your heat. Win and you get to race again, lose and you still get to spend the next two hours cheering on other drivers and enjoying themed games and activities, a multitude of prizes and a chance to win a trip to Las Vegas. A costume, access to all games and activities for two hours, an exhilarating race and entry into the US championship bracket is included with your ticket. Racers with the best times from across the country will be invited to Las Vegas to compete in the Mushroom Rally national championships.
