The Grinch’s Grotto Experience at Westfield Garden State Plaza is On Brand for 2020 [dedicated]

Activities  /

2020 has been…a year. And now, with the holiday season upon us, it’s feeling like work to dredge up our usual holiday spirit. It’s almost as if our hearts are two sizes too small. If you’re feeling a little less like Cindy Lou Who than usual, a visit to The Grinch’s Grotto at Westfield Garden State Plaza might just sum up your holiday vibe perfectly

Step into the Grinch’s cave for a visit with the Mean One himself. He’ll be waiting for you surrounded by a burlap sack of his pilfered toys, a Grinch-style tree and a backlit fireplace. Your party will have a private meet and greet with the Grinch and then you’ll get to pick one of 20 phrases that perfectly encapsulates your year to use as you pose for a photo with grumpiest Santa around (which is nice since sometimes it feels like maybe we’d win the prize for grumpiest, amirite?). Phrases include: “You’re a Mean One, 2020” and “Stink, stank, stunk” but also, “The Grinch still can’t steal Christmas!” which, let’s face it, is the kind of positivity we all could use a little more of.

As with everything this year, social distancing and safety protocols will be observed during your visit. Reservations for the Grinch’s Grotto Experience are required. Your ticket secures an individual time for you and your party of up to four additional guests individual time to meet with the Grinch and explore his cave. All guests must wear a face mask at all times. Guests are asked to arrive for their experience 15 minutes ahead of their scheduled time. Late arrivals are not guaranteed admittance.

Tickets are $50 for regular admission. All groups will receive a FREE 6 x 8” printed photo and a  special Grinch collectible ornament. Purchase the VIP package and also receive additional time with the Grinch, more photo options, a digital link to all your photos, and a special VIP gift box filled with exclusive Grinch merchandise and collectibles.

So just remember, “Christmas Day will always be, just as long as we have we” and gather your loved ones for an experience as unique as 2020 has been. Purchase tickets for The Grinch Experience here. And “Welcome Christmas while we stand, heart to heart and hand in hand.”
