Shake Up Cocktail Hour with ROOT Crafted Artisanal Cocktail Mixers [dedicated]

It’s the end of a long day. Okay week. Alright fine, month. And what you really want, okay, need, is a cocktail. But you don’t want one that’s too sweet and you’ve been doing so well with your nutrition, choosing foods that are healthy most of the time. Luckily, Trish Pepe Lauden and Diane Aemisegeo, mothers, neighbors and friends, have your back. They’ve developed ROOT Crafted, a line of artisanal cocktail mixers that are made with all natural, organic ingredients and also taste ah-mazing.

Born from a friendship forged over shared experiences, long afternoon playdates (Diane and Trish have six kids between them!) and even longer days in the kitchen mixing, stirring and sampling, ROOT Crafted is all about what nourishes us: deep bonds with family and friends, wonderful food, and of course, the perfect cocktail. 

ROOT Crafted Mixers come in five different flavors and tbh, it’s going to be hard to figure out which to try first. Flavors include: Lemongrass, a hibiscus tea with elderflower called Hibi-Hibi, pink grapefruit and cherry (The Hound), pomegranate and lemongrass (The Granada) and Au Pear which is, wait for it, made with real pear juice. But the ladies behind these delicious blends don’t just leave you hanging out there trying to figure out how to prepare your much-deserved libation, they also provide spirit selections and serving suggestions for each mixer under The Bar tab on their website. As for preparation, just mix two parts ROOT with one-part booze and you are good to go.

They’ll be at the Total Wine in River Edge on Saturday, March 16th from 2pm – 5pm and the Total Wine in West Orange on Saturday, March 30th from 2pm – 5pm. Cheers!
