Legoland NY Set to Open in 2020 (and it’s going to be awesome!)

Day Trips  /

“Have you heard the news? Everyone’s talkin’, life is good ‘cause everything is awesome!”

Everything IS awesome! Because LEGOLAND is coming to New York. Located in Goshen, New York, just about 30 minutes away from Bergen County, the theme park and 250-room hotel are scheduled to open in 2020.

The park, which will be open seasonally, will feature many of the rides and attractions that can be found in the other LEGOLAND parks including the other two US locations in Florida and California. Kids of all ages will find the LEGOLAND factory, the LEGO city full of Minifigures, Heartlake City, home of the LEGO Friends, Kingdoms, where you will find the LEGOLAND Dragon coaster, Pirate Shores, the Ninjago Zone and Bricktopia. In all LEGOLAND will feature more than 50 rides, shows and attractions, most importantly a replica of Manhattan made completely from LEGO bricks.

Want to make a weekend of it? Book a room at the LEGOLAND Hotel. You’ll find fun theme rooms and hundreds of LEGO models displayed throughout the hotel. Plus, if the LEGOLAND hotel in New York is anything like the ones in California and Florida, you’ll find interactive LEGO features, nightly children’s entertainment, an in-room treasure hunt, an all-you-can-eat buffet breakfast and a buffet Character Dinner.

So, pencil in a visit to the new LEGOLAND for 2020. We’ll let you know when we hear more about the grand opening.
