Westfield Garden State Plaza Brings the Farm to You (dedicated)

Weekly Events  /

Tbh, we're not completely sure what the Pilgrims were thinking. The best time to appreciate the bounty of the harvest isn't in the fall. It's during the spring and summer, when The Garden State really earns its nickname.  And where better to celebrate than at the weekly Sunday Farmer's Market at Westfield Graden State Plaza?

Beginning on Sunday, May 14th and running through October 28th, from 9am-2pm, the parking lot across from Macy's and next to Chili's will be transformed with stands from some of the best local growers including: Van Wageningen & Daughter Farms, Halal Pastures, High Bridge Farm - Local, Grass Fed, All Natural Beef, and S.&S.O Produce Farms.

You'll also be able to stock up on fresh foods that will help your meal planning and prep a snack from local favortes: DACHA Live Cultured Veggies, Jerzey Girl Pickles, Olive Branch & Grape Vine, Paolo's Kitchen - Frozen Meals, Pita Bowl-Fish, Tayba Mediterranean Kitchen, Ramen from Tenmomi.com, Ultimate Side Dish By Evelyn, Uncle Bob's Kettle Corn, Uncle Gordon's Backyard Honey, Zell's Farm, Auntie Lulu's Cookies, Holy Cannoli, and Joey's Market Breads.

Stop by for a quick shop, or bring your lawn chairs, your appetite and your companions of choice and make a day of it. Food truck vendors will include: Antojitos de mi Tierra, Clyde's Homemade Italian Ices & Ice Cream, Empanada Lady, KBBQ Cupbob, Latin Bites, RainBao, and Taco Daisis.

Make sure you have a designated driver so you can enjoy adult beverages or non-alcholic treats from vendors including: Alementary Brewing Co., Aronia Very Berry, Brix City Brewing, Cat-Like Reflexes - Lemonade, The Coffee Stream, Fruitwo Bubble, Icarus Brewing, Seven Tribesmen Brewery, and Sourland Mountain Spirits.

Shop for gifts for you favorite humans or furry friends with Barbara's Kitchen-Jams & Salsas, Butch's Hot Sauce, La Pet-isserie Pet Food, Lilly Bear Treats, Flora Bloom Fresh Flowers, or Love at First Boxx Flowers.

Interactive vendors who will be there to entertain and inform include: Above and Beyond Interactive Art, Atlantic Health System, Bergen Performing Arts Center, Dana Bickers Henna Tattoo, and Humana.

In addition, there will be a meet up of the GS Motor Club.

Admission is free and well-behaved pets are welcome. The Farmer's Market will run rain or shine. Check the Westfield Garden State Plaza website for information in the unlikely event of a cancellation.  Please note that not all vendors or food trucks will attend the Farmer's Market every week. Westfield Garden State Plaza thanks Atlantic Health Sytem and Humana for sponsoring this event.
