Each Christmas, Down to Earth Living transforms its 10,000 square-foot showroom into a winter wonderland complete with life-like Santas, artificial pre-lit Christmas trees, friendly life-size reindeer, hundreds of exclusive ornaments and decorations, and plenty of life-like, furry animals (a favorite with our littlest shoppers) waiting to be discovered amongst the displays.
If you’re in the market for a new artificial Christmas tree, Down to Earth Living has a wide selection of trees ranging in size from 4.5’ tabletop trees to 12’ tall giant trees, in a variety of colors and shapes. For those looking for a fresh cut tree, Down to Earth Living sells exclusively Fraser firs, prized for its deep green color, smells-like-Christmas aroma, and needle retention (because who wants to be vacuuming when they’d rather be baking, caroling or enjoying time with friends and family). For the crafters in the crowd, Down to Earth Living has hundreds of yards of unique ribbon and decorative elements like floral stems, glittery tree branches and other accessories.
But a trip to Down to Earth Living isn’t just a shopping trip. It’s an experience. They create holiday themed vignettes throughout the main floor that can’t help but kindle the Christmas spirit. “Our goal is to have everyone leave here filled with the wonder and magic that Christmas brings each year,” says Down to Earth Living’s owner and head elf, Stuart Leventhal. So, forget about fighting the traffic, crowds, and weather in the city so you can see the windows on Fifth Avenue this year. Instead, head to Down to Earth Living’s 12.5 acres, ample parking lot and indoor location, and fill yourself with holiday cheer.
