Well, summer was fun, wasn’t it? Lots of family time, entertaining the kids, driving the kids, being with the kids. But now, they’re headed back to school and it’s time for you to do something for yourself. Kaplen JCC on the Palisades is hosting a Fall Showcase on Sunday, September 10th from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm where you can experience the very best of the planned fall programming in select departments.
Sample classes for adults will include aerial yoga, Zumba gold, an adult painting class, a stretch and balance group exercise class, 15 minute demo Hebrew classes, a pickleball clinic, and many more. There’s complimentary babysitting so take your time, get a mini facial, and make sure to visit the Adult Programming Table to learn about upcoming lectures, painting classes, author events, and leisure game events.
For the kiddos, the Thurnauer school of music will be offering a sound safari for kids to touch and learn about each of the instruments, an instrument scavenger hunt, an early childhood music sample class, and student recitals and performances.
Then, when you get a little hungry, try out their all new RCBC Café, First Jerusalem Café of Tenafly, which offers a wide range of Kosher options sure to please everyone in the family.
