Phew! You made it through another summer. But monitoring your not-quite-independent little swimmer was sort of exhausting and you’d like to make sure they’re a stronger, more confident swimmer before summer rolls around again. Big Blue Swim School in Paramus, New Jersey is here to help. They offer swim lessons for kids 3 months to 12 years old and right now, they’re also offering a Free Trial Lesson for babies, toddlers and children.

The Free Trial Lesson is a way for you and your kids to see what makes Big Blue Swim School Paramus different and such a good fit for so many little swimmers. You and your child will be greeted at the front desk and all of your questions and concerns will be answered and addressed. You’ll be shown to the changing rooms where there are enough for everyone, and each has a diaper change table.

Five minutes before your child’s lesson, check-ins will begin, and kids are confirmed for their lesson with their pre-assigned lane and swim instructor. In addition to their in-pool swim instructor, there are also lifeguards and staff members watching lessons, monitoring skills, abilities, and progress, and taking notes. Caregivers are required to stay for the duration of the lesson, but while your little one is in the water, you can take advantage of the free WiFi provided in the spacious viewing area in the lobby to get some work done or snap some pics of your champion-to-be swimmer.

Once the lesson is over, your child can shower in the multiple showers on the pool deck and then head back to changing rooms to change into cozy clothes, use the very popular hair dryers, and then stick around to get a few more wiggles out in the child friendly lobby. Your kiddo’s progress will be logged and tracked in your Parent Portal through Big Blue’s mobile app so you’ll know exactly where they’re starting from once you begin regularly scheduled lessons, and you can see their progress and helpful tips on how to help them achieve swim goals to move to the next level.

Baby and toddler classes do require a parent or caregiver to be in the water with each child until children are 3 years old. And little ones who aren’t yet potty trained will need to wear a reusable swim diaper over a disposable swim diaper so we can maintain the high level of hygiene and cleanliness that has become Big Blue’s hallmark.

So, what do you bring to your first class? A bathing suit, of course, a disposal swim diaper plus a reusable swim diaper for those who need them, a cap for kids who have long hair, goggles if they use them, a towel, clothes to change into, and for after the swim lesson, a snack and water bottle for all that hard work they’ve put in.

Big Blue Swim School Paramus empowers kids with the swim skills they need to be confident in the water. Their instructors adapt their lessons to each individual child, ensuring that everyone gets to most out of each lesson. And they offer time-saving schedule flexibility with continuous weekly lessons that are available year-round, so your child can start and stop their lessons based on what’s convenient to your family.

Summer might just have ended, but there’s another one right around the corner. So, get your child ready to swim with confidence, and love every second of it! Visit the Big Blue Swim School Paramus website or call 201-801-6335 if you have questions or to enroll in lessons. See you at the pool!
