Dedicated Email - The Happiest Camper

 /

This summer, instead of sending your little one to camp, you were thinking town pool and backyard.  Throw in some day trips to museums and sculpture gardens and you’ve got your own enriched program.  But with July right around the corner (and little Johnny bouncing off the walls) you realize your “renaissance summer” plan of mother-child bonding time is more pipe dream than reality.

So scrap that plan and sign your little one up for Palisades Country Day Camp, where there are still a few spots left for enrollment.  This wonderland of camp goes beyond the bug juice and offers tons of bells-and-whistles fun; with pools and water parks for kids ages toddler through 8, special super-hero days, petting zoos, Candyland Day, and the Palisades carnival.  Plan to be slightly envious when the thermometer touches 90 degrees and you’re sending your camper off with a hat, scarf and gloves for the camp’s famous Annual Snow Week, where five tons of snow is imported to the camp grounds for the sheer pleasure of the tot’s who attend.

The super-enthusiastic staffers who greet your child everyday with a smile get really into the program.  Some have even been known to sport super hero costumes on random camp days (yes, we’re talking to you Wonder Woman). But all have your child’s happiness at heart, keeping a watchful eye on them from one activity to the next, as if the kids were their own.  So take a tour and be prepared to be amazed by the water park facilities, pools and craft areas, which will induce even the clingiest child to leave mom’s side.
