It's the most wonderful time of the year, or so they say. If you've been a bit busy kicking off the shopping season and crossing of your gift list, all while running around trying to give your family a taste of the holidays, one spot just a short drive away is putting holiday fun in one sweet and festive place.

Christmas House, which has locations in the northeast including Paramus Park Mall and The Oculus in downtown NYC, is ready to give you and your kids the holiday happiness you deserve. Step into the ultimate Christmas celebration that will make your nostalgic for your youth and put a smile on your kids' faces. At both the Paramus and NYC locations, you can explore the spirit of the holidays with a 45 minute (or more) walk through a variety of themed rooms, each with their own festive flair.

At this pop-up Christmas spot, take a stroll through an indoor lights display where you're surrounded on all sides by twinkling bulbs and greeted by Frosty. This year, you can also find the first snow room (while we inevitably wait for the real thing), where you can have a snowball fight with the lifelike snow, plus a tropical Christmas room with wall-to-wall sand and beachy games if you've been dreaming of a warm-weather getaway for the winter.

Movie fans will also get in some fun since Christmas House is a one-stop-shop for some holiday favorites. Step inside the North Pole movie theater where Elf is playing on repeat, or head to the Harry Potter room where you can find floating candles and invisibility shield, photo opps on a flying broom, and more magical fun. There's also a Nightmare Before Christmas space that has an interactive Jack Skellington, and for the parents, a Blockbuster Video room complete with VHS tapes so you can reminisce about having to physically go to the movie store to grab your fave flicks — if they weren't rented already.

An elf command center, Christmas Eve room, and room of holiday illusions tops off the experience. Plus, everywhere you turn, you'll find the music and scents of the holiday. You can end with a visit to the gift shop and baked goods stand, and check out the tree. Take a mini break from the chaos of the holidays and grab your tickets now through January 2 since dates will sell out fast.
