It's a rainy day, or it's your kid's birthday, or it's your turn to organize the scout trip. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to plan a visit to Time Mission, an indoor adventure game located on the 3rd floor of the Palisades Center in West Nyack.
Look sharp because Time Mission transports players into the past or the future through a fun, fully immersive experience. Your team will have to work your way through up to 32 different portals (rooms) to collect skill points by working against the clock to complete challenges. Enter each individually-themed portal and encounter a unique experience, set in a distinctive time zone, that challenges a different set of skills including intelligence, strength, coordination, or speed.
Think hard about your team. Each one may be made up of individuals of different ages, strengths, talents, and abilities, making this the perfect family or group activity. Think strategically because your team can repeat or abandon rooms at any time in order to improve your score or find the next clues on the mission before time runs out. Each mission must be successfully completed within 2-5 minutes, depending on the room, so time is of the essesnce.
Time Mission in Palisades Center opened with a bang in December by hosting a Charity Challenge, a fundraiser in which local non-profits including Meals on Wheels, Girl Scouts, and Nanuet Interact Club/ Nanuet Rotary competed for $2000 in prize money. After a hard-fought, energetic battle, Meals on Wheels walked away with the win.
