Best Super Bowl Food in North Jersey

Catering  /

Super Bowl weekend is upon us, so it’s time to pull out your favorite recipes for dips, wings, and chili, compile a shopping list, hit the supermarket, schlep home, make a bunch of different dishes, clean up the kitchen mess, dig out all of your big serving platters, and feed your hungry guests. Just kidding! It’s time to find some really good takeout, which, as luck would have it, we’ve already found for you. Here are lots of excellent options in and around North Jersey where you can pick up all the game day food you’ll need – from pizzas to subs to BBQ (hey, no one said it had to be healthy) – to keep your fans full through the final play

For Wings: Biddy O'Malleys will be serving up some serious wing platters.  And for those who take their wing eating and food very seriously- so does the chef, and they've got a NYTimes review to prove it. (3 dozen wings for $35, must order before noon on Friday, February 1st)
For Subs: Over the top eats is what Russo's House of Pizza in Pearl River NY is known for (if you don't believe us just check out their Instagram feed). But for game day, the home of the famous "PizzaRitto" will be serving up some serious 3 foot Italian subs loaded with Provalone and Pepparoni and their very own "Pasta Boat" which is a sub loaded with baked ziti- avoid this spot if you've resolved to cut back on the carbs this season.
For Barbeque: Imagine tailgating with your smoker in full force when you order up from Bailey’s Smokehouse in Blauvelt.  Just a hop from the Bergen border, the joint is known for their Baby Back Ribs, Wings and Pulled Pork- get your order in before they stop taking them.

For Hot Pretzels: Pretzel lovers should call an audible and order up some Giant German Pretzels with House made Mustard Dipping Sauce or House made Cheddar Dip from The Shepard & The Knucklehead Pub in Haledon, where bar food is almost a religion.
For Dessert: Score extra points with these adorable game day donuts from D'Ercole Donuts in Norwood, sure to please your crowd and send the kids into sugar comas.
Or go for the end zone with a full cake from Palermo's Bakery, branded with your favorite team.
Or some savory super bowl Hot Wing Corncakes from Mr. Cupcake.

Don’t forget to print out some grids for your guests to pick boxes.

Now pat yourself on the back, (or do a little victory dance) for pulling off the perfect Football Fete.
