Why: Aviator-wannabees explore the cockpits of airplanes, helicopters and fire trucks

What: Harvest Fair at OPRC
Why: Raffled items, toys, baked goods and soups, jewelry, linens, books and records.

What: The Fast and the Furriest at Tenafly Nature Center
Why: Stalk forest creatures and finish off with a craft at this family friendly workshop great for ages 4 and up.

What: Fall Forest Weekend at the New York Botanical Garden
Why: Everything from Live Raptor Shows to Forest Walking Tours (yes, foliage included)
