What: Second Annual Flat Rock Brook 5K Run for the Wild
Why: You and nature.  And a good morning workout.

What: NYC Restaurant Week!
Why: $25 gets you 3 courses for lunch (and $38 for dinner) at some of the city’s top eateries.  Sounds delish.

What: Kiddie Cruise: A Princess and Pirate Adventure
Why: Calling all captains and first mates!  Climb aboard this two-hour, activity-filled cruise, which circles the Statue of Liberty while entertaining young passengers with magic shows, live music, and more. 
When: Sunday, August 18th, noon- 2;00 p.m.; $40, children 12 and under $35, children under 12 months free; bagged lunch will be provided, ages 2-9

What: Brenda Blanco Certification at the Kaplen JCC on the Palisades
