Field Station Dinosaurs has officially re-opened and we’re giving away a Family Four Pack of tickets-  Enter Our Facebook Contest For a Chance To Win! Events Not to Miss:

What: American Girl Doll Fashion Show
Why:  A two part runway show plus an ice cream social during intermission- fashion + sweets = fun!
When: Saturday, April 6th and Sunday, April 7th, 10:30am and 3:30pm, tickets are $45 per person (her favorite “girl” goes for free)
Where: Newark Museum, 49 Washington Street, Newark

What: 3rd Annual Lost Brook Trail Race
Why:  Jump over logs and pass over foot bridges as you run a 5K, 10K or relay for TNC on the Lost Brook Trail. 
When: Saturday, April 6th, 9am, Registration fee is $25-$40, advance registration is necessary
Where: Tenafly Nature Center, Hudson Ave, Tenafly

What: Drawn to Nature Weekend at Wave Hill
Why:  Gather on the beautiful lawns and gardens as you sketch with guest artists during the “family art project”, then tour the serene grounds.
When: Apr 06–Apr 07 - Daily, 10:00AM-4:30PM, FREE!
Where: Wave Hill, West 249th Street and Independence Avenue (main entrance), Bronx, NY

What: Clay Flower Pot Painting
Why:  Keep hands busy as you paint and plant at this fun workshop
When: April 9th and 10th, 6pm to 7pm, $15 material fee, reserve space by calling 201-497-8787, ages 10 and up
Where: Blooming Hearts Treasure Shop, 175 Center Ave, Westwood

What: Start II Save the Animals Tricky Tray and Fundraiser
Why:  Save homeless animals and win prizes. 
When: Thursday, April 11th, 7pm to 10pm, tickets are $50 and can be purchased on the website or calling Vivien at 201-417-3363
Where: The Rockleigh Country Club, 26 Paris Ave, Rockleigh

If you’re heading into the city…...

What: Macy’s Flower Show
Why: Catch the south asian inspired show before it closes- a live dj, art project for the kiddos plus beautiful flora. 
When: Now through Sunday, April 7th
Where: Macy’s Herald Square, NYC

What: The Affordable Art Fair
Why:  Banish bare walls on the cheap, with young emerging artists’ works- most pieces under $5,000.
When: Thru Sun. Today-Sat., 11 a.m.-8 p.m.; Sun., 11 a.m.-5 p.m.
Where: Metropolitan Pavilion, 125 W. 18th St., between Sixth & Seventh Aves. Tickets ($15) at or at the door.


What: Dwight Englewood Summer Connections Open House
Why:  Visit the campus and see what all the buzz is about
When: Saturday, April 20th 1-3pm and May 18th, 1-3pm
Where: Hajjar Auditorium at Dwight-Englewood School, Englewood
