What: Hackensack Medical Center American Girl Doll Fashion Show
Why:  No need to head to the city, let them get their American Girl fix closer to home when they view the current fashions and bring a fave doll along for girly fun.

What: Ridgewood Restaurant Week
Why:  Favorite local eateries offer pre-fixe menus for $20.13.  We knew it would be a good year.
When: January 20th through the 31st, on Sundays through Thursdays
Where: Select restaurants thoughout Ridgewood

What: Little Maestros Concert at the Bergen YJCC
Why: Rock out with the kiddos at this all-time crowd-pleasing band.

What: The Butterfly Conservatory: Butterflies Alive in Winter
Why:  You can pre-book or just wing it for this fascinating exhibit which lets you walk through a world of live butterflies.
When: Now through May 27th.

What: “Bad Parents” Movie Debut At The Ridgewood Quad
Why:  Jeanine Garafolo and other celebs star alongside North Jersey locals in this satirical comedy about what goes down on the soccer field (and no it’s not pretty).  Shot on location in North Jersey- you may just relate. 
When: Red Carpet Event, January 23rd, at 6:30pm, (4) 7:30 pm showings on January 23rd, 24th, 30th and 31st, and a special kids version screening January 24th at 5pm, tickets start at $8 per child for the kids version and $12 for adults and can be purchased at the box office or online here.

Why: Nibble on scones and traditional tea sandwiches for some much needed mommy daughter time- dolls and teddybears are welcome.

What: Fashion Designer Workshop and Book Signing
