Your Top Choice (dedicated)

Camps  /

As parents, we often face a difficult choice during the summer. Do we take advantage of our less cluttered schedules to put our daughters in a camp that will help them further develop the skills they already possess, in the activities they already pursue? Or do we encourage them to take a break from their academic year activities to explore something brand new? At Next Level Day Camp for Girls, headquartered at the Academy of the Holy Angels, in Demarest, New Jersey, your daughter has the opportunity to do both.

The structure of Next Level Day Camp for Girls has been developed to help campers explore their passions and work on their skills to get to the Next Level. Campers are encouraged to create a schedule in which they experience new challenges, explore their potential and, most importantly, try something new. At NLDC, intensive sports are balanced with creative electives that offer campers the chance to step outside their comfort zones and maybe even find they have a passion for something they never even thought about trying.

Next Level Day Camp for Girls is a skill-based elective camp, offering specialized instruction by top- notch teachers, coaches and instructors from all over New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. Campers have a variety of options in the areas of both traditional and unique sports, the arts, cooking/baking, martial arts, fencing, and even learning the basics of being a DJ.

Campers who are interested in musical theater are invited to participate in the Performing Arts Enrichment Intensive in which they will experience the fun of preparing for and performing fully staged musicals, complete with sets, props, and costumes. Shows for Summer 2024 are Annie, Jr., Willy Wonka, Jr., and Mary Poppins, Jr. Budding visual artists can attend the Fine Arts Enrichment Intensive and focus for two weeks on either sculpture, sewing or drawing.

A typical camp day consists of four different periods, with snack breaks, lunch, and counselor challenges and camp-wide special events like relay races, tug of war, and bucket brigades throughout the day. Campers who are able to create their daily schedules to fit their interests, goals and needs feel empowered, confident, and often discover a hidden talent.

Next Level Day Camp for Girls offers six weeks of day camp, from June 24th – August 2nd , with convenient registration options to fit your family’s summer schedule. Typical options includeweek-long sessions for either a full or a half day, or a flex pass that enables you to customize select days and your child to come to camp on your schedule. Register before March 15th, and you’ll receive $50 off the Full Day Option and $20 off the half-day and Flex Pricing options.

So, stop stressing about how your daughter is going to spend her summer. You know at NLDC for Girls, she’ll have a summer that is as interesting, engaging, challenging, and unique as she is.
