Green Jeans (dedicated)

New clothes for spring are nice. New clothes that are bespoke and original are amazing. And if those new clothes are also good for the planet? Well, then you fully understood the assignment. You can achieve all three of these objectives on Saturday, May 11th at the Denim Revival Event at Westfield Garden State Plaza’s The Good Festival.

Here’s how it works: you clean out your closet and find that favorite pair of jeans that you want to keep, but that could use a little TLC before you wear them out in public again. Bring them to The Good Festival and artist Nick Sizemore and fashion designer Darcy Barber of Craft Night NYC will consult with you on a one-of-a-kind design that will transform your jeans into a wearable masterpiece. You get points for upcycling and your jeans get a new lease on life.

Even better, ten lucky Bergen Mama followers will be selected for this amazing experience. So, watch the Bergen Mama Instagram page for details and rules for entering to win your personal design consultation. Then, leave your jeans in the hands of the experts and come back a week later to marvel at the final product. Winners will be selected at random on Friday, May 10 th and, as we all know, you gotta be in it to win it. So, use this as your excuse to spring clean that closet and then, go ahead and green your jeans.

The Good Festival will be held from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm on the lower level near Pandora. See you there!
