The HealthBarn’s Summer Camp in Bergen County: Organic Gardening, Cooking and More

At the Bergen County-based Barn, kids and families learn how to grow their own fruits and veggies, make the best choices at supermarkets and restaurants, how to prepare and cook their bounty, and how to add a heaping, tasty scoop of fun to everyday meals and snacks.

This summer, enroll your kids in one of their summer camps, where kids ages 5 – 12 get to master organic gardening, culinary, nutrition and life skills (including putting values into practice) while having a great time! Hands-on cooking instruction includes their very own “test kitchen” as well as preparing a naturally delicious breakfast, lunch and snack each day with freshly picked ingredients from the garden. Even the littlest ones can learn about growing organic fruits and vegetables and enjoy cooking healthy recipes with HealthBarn's Summer Seedlings Program. Perfect for kids ages 3 – 5, this program is offered all year long, once a week for 1.5 hours with 5-week and 10-week options available.
