Sesame Street Live Comes to NJPAC (dedicated)

Activities  /

It's October, and that means weekends full of pumpkin patches, apple picking, and hayrides, right? Well it also means theater, even for the youngest tots.  Luckily, we've got an awesome activity for the whole family that's sure to make the day: The super fun interactive show Sesame Street Live: Elmo Makes Music is coming to the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) in Newark with three weekend performances on tap and we've got an exclusive offer for Bergen Mama fans.

The story follows music teacher Jenny, who, after arriving on Sesame Street, discovers that (gasp!) all of her instruments are missing. And since it's kinda' hard to teach music without them, the SS gang – including Big Bird, Elmo, and other familiar faces – step in to lend a hand by making music with everything from trash can lids to rubber duckies.

The interactive musical event will have your little cookie monsters singing along and is the perfect way to give your toddler or Pre-K kid a really fun first live show experience. Because, let's face it, they're not quite ready for Hamilton yet.

Bergen Mama readers save 25% on tickets by entering the code 'FAMILY'. Performances take place Friday at 6:30pm and Saturday at 10:30am and 2pm. Reserve your tickets at NJPAC.org or call 888.GO.NJPAC.
