Radicchio Restaurant in Ridgewood NJ Reopens

Restaurants  /

After shutting its doors in 2011 to focus on its maiden voyage to Manhattan, former Ridgewood Italian restaurant staple Radicchio restaurant is back—in its original location, no less. We couldn’t wait to pay our respects to the beloved pasta palace, so we stopped in recently to have dinner and say “ciao!”

Fortunately, not much has changed in five years. Instead of a full-on revamp, Chef Daniel Montoya has decided to remind diners of all the things that made Radicchio so special to begin with: namely, his extensive menu of on-point, homemade pastas, right-on risottos, signature sauces, and mouth-watering seafood and meat entrees.

Chef Montoya prides himself on using only the freshest ingredients, so don’t be surprised if the nightly specials sell out quickly, but the restaurant’s friendly staff (many of whom you’ll likely recognize from back in the day) is sure to quickly subside the sting.

Welcome back, old friend!
