Englewood Hospital and Medical Center Mom Class Series (dedicated)

Wellness  /

Sleepless nights, how to avoid eating a gallon of ice cream every day while you’re pregnant, what to do with those flabby, um, post pregnancy areas … just a few of the topics they don’t teach in school. But wait – you can learn this stuff in the classroom! It’s called the MOM 101 Series for new and expectant parents at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center. Everything from prenatal wellness to infant CPR to full-frontal mommy makeovers – it’s all covered. Classes are held in the hospital campus conference rooms, and are free of charge. Take a look!

May 14 6pm-8pm: Total Prenatal Wellness: Healthy Pregnancy, Nutrition & Fitness
Stay energized throughout your pregnancy, learn easy ways to get your necessary nutrients through whole foods, and prepare your body for childbirth with prenatal yoga.

May 18 6pm-8pm: Mommy Makeover
Learn about recent advances in cosmetic medicine and plastic surgery (non-surgical fat reduction, breast lifts, and power assisted liposuction & tummy tucks). In addition, staffers will help you enhance your natural beauty by showing you how to apply makeup in just a few minutes.

June 22 6pm-8pm: Infant CPR, Car Seat & Safe Sleep
Designed for new & expectant parents, plus others who care for babies. Attend during your second trimester or 6 weeks after delivery. You’ll learn and practice infant CPR, and a certified Child Passenger Safety Technician will be on hand to provide safety tips and the latest recommendations.
