Kaplen JCC on the Palisades Science Camp: Let your little scientist have a blast this summer as they explore all aspects of science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics through hands-on experiments and projects at the Kaplen JCC on the Palisades' brand new science camp. Each week kids will have lots of fun as they work with experienced science teachers in this challenging and innovative summer program and then cool off with a daily swim. (411 E. Montclair Kimberley Academy Star Camp: Spend the summer at MKA’s top rate facilities and engage in their educational college-style program. Every camper personalizes their own schedule, allowing them to explore the activities that interest them the most! Their JR. STAR Camp (preK-2nd grade) and STAR Camp (3rd-10th grade) offers a variety of activities such as sports, arts, dance, theater, swimming, science, computers and more. Liberty Science Center Camp: At the largest science center in the tri-state area, kids will enjoy the fun, innovative STEM camp curriculum through activities they simply cannot cover in a regular school year. All kids will enjoy hands-on exploration in topics like robotics, science, computer programming, animals, food chemistry, engineering and more. With exciting guest speakers, exploration of LSC exhibits, access to science and technology tools and a chance to explore connections between STEM concepts and real-world applications - your camper will have one super cool summer. Zoo Camp at the Bergen County Zoo: This “always booked” local program is open to residents and members ages 5 to 15 only for half day week-long sessions where kids work in and explore the zoo with qualified educators and staff. Older campers will walk in the shoes of actual zookeepers while they prepare animals’ daily diets, learn about the collection and clean out their cages.
