When it comes to summer programs, there’s so much to navigate: sleep away camps, travel abroad programs, community service, sports camps, college internships, and more. With literally 950 summer camps and programs worldwide to choose from, Camp expert Debbie Rosen Alfonso of The Camp Experts is like your very own guidance counselor, guiding you and advising through all the choices. The upcoming Summer Program Expo, geared for students in 6th-12th grade, is where the action begins. You’ll meet with owners and directors from various programs, pick up info-rich DVDs and brochures and sit down with Camp Experts staff who will guide you through the choices and help figure out the best fit for your teen.
The next thing you know, you’ll look up into sky, squint your eyes and exclaim: “it’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s my teen on her summer abroad program!”
