Deer Mountain Day Camp is located on a stunning, 25-acre private campus nestled at the base of the Ramapo Mountains – Harriman State Park and features both indoor and outdoor facilities, so if it rains, the fun will still go on. Expert instructors lead daily activities in all program areas including swimming, sports, fine & performing arts, outdoor adventure, waterfront, and STEM.
Family-owned and operated for 70 years, the staff at DMDC make it a point to personally get to know each camper and their family. Campers ages 3 – 15 will start adventures and make lasting memories while they enjoy two daily swim periods, including a Daily Swim Lesson taught by certified instructors. They’ll gear up and get in the game while playing a variety of sports for all skill levels, from soccer to lacrosse, tennis, gymnastics, field hockey, volleyball, and more.
They’ll have the chance to unleash their creativity as they explore musical productions, ceramics, photography, dance, and other artistic pursuits. They’ll test their courage and reach new heights on the zip line, adventure course, hikes, and rocket launches. They can enjoy the outdoors at DMDC’s spring-fed lake while they boat, kayak, paddleboard, fish, and try to conquer the famous Aquatrack.
