Here’s what we know is going to happen on Thanksgiving. We know there’ll be comfort food. We know there’ll be lots of comfort food. We know plates will be full and we’ll eat more than we should. We know there will be dessert. So, before the festivities commence, head to one of these fitness classes designed to offset the inevitable second helpings and save you from day-after regret.

Hop on your bike and imagine that first hill ahead of you. Now imagine that hill is made of mashed potatoes. And there on the very top, you see not a slice, but a slab of pie. Ready, set, go get the pie! You can even have a second slice after your Turkey Burn ride. And, if you really overindulge, you head back on Friday for a post-feast spin.
Lifetime Fitness, Montvale
Thursday, November 23rd, 6:30 am and 7:00 am
Gather your friends for two ways to get moving before your festivities begin. The “Beast before Feast” spin class begins at 6:30 am. Then follow it up with the “Thighs before Pies” barre class. Before you leave, refuel with complimentary coffee and light breakfast bites then head home to your chopping, sauteing and stuffing. Best of all? These classes are open to non-member guests. Another reason to be thankful!
Thursday, November 23rd, 8:30 am
On the one hand, you have coffee and doughnuts while watching handlers wrangle giant errant balloons down Broadway. On the other hand, you have the Beast N’ Feast Ride at Equinox. Lucky for you, you can do both. Work up a sweat, then head home, guilt-free, to start the feast portion of your day.
Thursday, November 23rd, 9:30 am - 11:00 am
