Why:  The live tour of Nickelodeon’s supergroup for preschoolers!

Why: A great day of family fun with parent child relays, sand candle building contests, cannon ball competition, tube relays, and more!

What: Wyckoff Fire Dept Fireworks Show
Why: End summer with a BANG! At this family friendly fireworks show. Plus a DJ, Dancing and Chow.
When: Saturday, August 30th, 4pm-til dark, kids under 10 free, $10/ticket

What: Closter Labor Day 5K Run/Walk & Kids Fun Run
Why:  Run or walk with friends and family at the 33rd Annual Dom Mircovich Memorial Run.

What: Whole Foods Market’s End of Summer Celebration
Why:  Celebrate the end of summer with a free live music concert.

Why: Pony rides, Games, Rides and Live Bands, plus Fireworks after dark!

Why: Non-stop entertainment, festival foods, and a variety of family activities.

What: YWCA Sports & Fitness Open House
Why:  An open house for new students of all ages that are interested in learning self-defense.
When: Tuesday, September 2, 5:45-6:15pm (Lil’ Dragons, ages 4-7) & 6:15-7:15pm (U.S.J.A. Judo, ages 5-adult)

What: CORNucopia at Philipsburg Manor
Why: Feast on a bounty of corn-centric delicacies and take part in a bevy of hands-on, corn-related activities at the lower Hudon Valley’s only corn festival.
When: Saturday, August 30th-Monday, September 1st, 10am-5pm
Where: Philipsburg Manor, 381 N. Broadway, Sleepy Hollow, NY

What: The Corn Maze Opens at Alstede Farms
Why: The corn maze is OPEN! (and we love ourselves a good cornmaze), plus family fun including moon bounce, pony rides, and wagon trains.
When: Friday, August 29th through Monday, September 2nd, check website for hours

What: JCC Rockland’s Rock the Block with Touch-A-Truck
Why:  Kids of all ages can come safely explore an army Humvee, RV, police car, fire truck, and more!
When: Sunday, September 7, 11am-2pm, $3 in advance, $5 at door per child, Children under age 1 and adults are free, Beep-free hour from 10-11am
